The Griffin Internet Broadband Access Network is based around multiple BT Central Pipes and supports the full range of IPStream services. The user sessions from the Central Pipes are managed by the Griffin L2TP Tunnel Switch (LTS) which grooms the traffic according to domain name. All user sessions with the same domain name are then encapsulated in a single L2TP tunnel and forwarded on to your own L2TP Network Server (LNS). It is only once the session reaches your LNS that it is authenticated and allocated an IP address, this puts complete control over your subscribers into your hands. It also provides a completely transparent service; the Griffin network is entirely invisible from your end-users.
The service is compatible with most popular LNS devices, including Cisco, RedBack etc. If you don't already have one of these devices on your network, then Griffin can sell or rent you one at a competitive price.
As part of the service, you get access to the Griffin Managed Online Provisioning Systems (MOPS). This allows you to place and monitor end-user orders and produce reports via an easy to use web interface or by using an XML interface to allow integration with your existing systems.
