Communications integrator Affiniti, announced today that it has
formed a strategic relationship with Griffin Internet allowing Affiniti
to send voice traffic over Griffin's low latency network.
The agreement gives Affiniti greater control over quality of
service for customers using its IP Centrex solution, as calls will not
touch the public internet.
Affiniti's IP Centrex is an advanced business class VoIP
solution, sold exclusively through the channel. Its versatility brings
expensive PBX functionality within reach of small businesses and home
offices and puts customers in control as it is fully manageable via a
secure web interface, enabling users to turn features on and off with
the click of a mouse.
"We chose Griffin as it has gained a reputation for being the
ISP of choice for voice resellers. We can connect directly to Griffin's
network allowing us to run voice from our network to theirs avoiding
the public internet entirely. This way we can guarantee a quality
service to our customers using our IP Centrex service," said Iain
