BtL had an existing relationship with Blackwell and was approached with a requirement to link all of their bookshops on a private broadband network, providing predominantly managed voice services.
Previously Blackwell used Central Plus, a product from BT, however upgrading from 512Kb/s download speeds would have meant exponential costs.
BtL worked with Griffin to put together a solution that would connect the Blackwell stores using MAX lines and a 100Mb leased circuit. Griffin’s MOPS platform enables BtL to add and change site broadband lines at a touch of a button and faults can also be diagnosed and booked using the system.
Existing lines were migrated to the new private network seamlessly and implementation took only 3 weeks after the new 100Mb connection was installed.
The migration worked perfectly and was completed in around 90 minutes.
"Although MPLS VPN is a new product for Griffin I felt confident in their thorough approach. Access to the VPN Product Manager ensured that I understood the strengths of the Griffin solution and was able to position it to Blackwell at a price and in a manner that won the business."
