Griffin launches Engineered Broadband – Single Priority at Comms Solutions 2007

Griffin Internet, the UK’s leading supplier of Managed Broadband launched a revolutionary new product – Single Priority at the Comms Solutions event at Wembley stadium.

Single Priority is the first in the Engineered Broadband™ product range to be launched by Griffin this year. The product allows Partners to order application prioritisation as an add-on service to DSL lines provisioned via Griffin’s Managed Online Provisioning System, MOPS. Partners are able to select the prioritisation of one application, such as a voice calls over all other traffic on a broadband line. Prioritisation is bi-directional and is priced competitively into the channel at only £5.00 per month.

Partners are also able to re-grade existing lines to add QoS profiles in minutes through MOPS.

Andrew Dickinson, Sales and Marketing Director stated: "We developed the Engineered Broadband™ product family to give Partners more control over the broadband lines they sell to their business customers. Single Priority is a very simple QoS product and is ideal for teleworkers and small offices where the customer does not want to have to buy two broadband lines - one for voice and one for data. We are also developing Multiple and Time Priority variants allowing Partners to prioritise multiple applications vary the profile of a single broadband line by time of day."
