Andrew Dickinson, Sales and Marketing Director will be presenting at 15.30hrs on Tuesday 9th October 2007 in the seminar room. He will be covering voice ready broadband.
The seminar will examine the facts and myths surrounding voice ready broadband. He will investigate the different types of broadband available in the business market and how voice quality can be guaranteed over a broadband line.
The presentation will look into the infrastructure required to support voice ready broadband solutions being developed to provide the Channel with hosted voice and SIP trunking products robust enough to compete in the PBX and ISDN market.
Speaker Profile
Andrew held a number of senior sales and general management positions during 10 years with Mercury Communications and Cable & Wireless. His last position was an Investment Manager with C&W Innovations based in Menlo Park, CA, USA.
In 1996 Andrew co-founded FOL Networks and as Sales Director and later MD helped steer the company through five rounds of fund raising. The company grew to over 100 people and £23m market capitalisation within four years. Andrew left in April 2001 to become CEO of Visual Protection Ltd and was part of the MBI team that purchased Griffin Internet in March 2005.
Andrew has a PMD from the Harvard Business School and a HND in Business Studies from Huddersfield University.
