Staff from Griffin Internet, the UK’s leading provider of Managed broadband, got involved in the Sports Relief run last weekend. Members of the accounts, technical support, development and sales teams all took part in the Derby leg of the Sport Relief mile helping to raise money for poor and vulnerable children in the UK and across the world.
The mile took place at Macworth College in Derby on Saturday 15th July and the Griffin team completed the mile wearing their red Sport Relief socks on one foot. Across the country over 400,000 people took part in the mile either walking or running and raised in excess of £12 million for Sport Relief. Organisers are expecting to exceed last year’s total of £16 million.

“It was great to get Griffin staff members together to raise money for such a worthy cause. We had a great time and we are really proud to have been part of the biggest mile in history!”
