For the second consecutive time, Griffin Internet has lifted the Imtech 5 aside trophy, a charity football tournament organised for the IT industry. The winter event raised £1,000 for Griffin’s chosen charity the Pulmonary Hypertension Association.

The tournament took place on 5th December at Goals Heathrow in Middlesex. Griffin reached the semi-final managing to overcome four teams which included Imtech Telecom, Streamshield, and Pipex. The Griffin team, captained by Robert Stevens, then went on to beat NTL Supply Chain to reach the final. Griffin exuded real class and skill to clinch the trophy beating Telstra 2-0.

Rob Stevens commented, “It was a superb effort by everyone involved and I was very pleased to raise money for a charity that means so much to me and my close friends and family. I couldn’t have asked for more from the team.”
